Job Description
- The client is seeking a bright and motivated individual to provide temporary support to the North America Regulatory Intelligence, Safety, and Compliance (RISC) Legal team.
- We are looking for someone who can navigate complex product regulations and develop and implement related compliance actions.
- This position requires partnering with legal and business teams on proposed actions, and coordinating across multiple teams using technology to implement processes and policies to effectuate those actions.
- You must have strong prior work experience in a professional setting, a positive attitude, and strong organizational skills.
- The ability to effectively communicate is essential, both verbally and in writing.
- The role will require that you be self-motivated to learn the operations and will involve both independent and team work in a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing.
- You also need great judgment, a sense of humor, and a desire to learn and be curious.
- 5 years of prior, relevant professional experience. Bachelor's degree required.
- Strong oral and written communication capabilities.
- Great research skills and the ability to sort through complex documentation.
- Proven ability to manage multiple internal and external escalations.
- Experience interacting directly with regulators, including federal and state agencies.
- Experience researching, analyzing and synthesizing federal and state regulations.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adjust to changes quickly while meeting deadlines.
- Great organizational skills with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail. Prior experience with project management.
- Data-driven decision-making experience.
- Military or legal experience
- 5 years of prior, relevant professional experience.
- Bachelor's degree required
- Some form of experience in regulatory (in any category) translates very well into the role and will be helpful.
- Legal experience as well (compliance specialist, paralegal, working towards a legal degree)
- Communication is HUGE in this role.
- Ability to give examples that made sense (ability to organize, concise)
