GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The Consultant, Salesforce Product Owner will be a critical member of the Center of Excellence in the Customer Experience organization. This role will collaborate with the Salesforce Product Manager, other Salesforce Product Owners, technical Product Owners and the Salesforce Agile team to define and deliver on the strategic roadmap. The Product Owner will manage epics, document user stories, and collaborate with other Salesforce Product Owners to the prioritize the backlog and evaluate current processes to create solutions to meet needs, goals and objectives of the business.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintains deep knowledge of Salesforce CRM and technical capabilities with an ability to participate in technical integration and product features discussions.
- Executes on Salesforce product strategy and roadmap as determined by Salesforce Product Manager, business leaders, stakeholders, and user groups. Contributes to the roadmap development.
- Assists with requirements gathering effort on epics and documents story details based on the epics.
- Proposes solutions to stated business problems, assesses alternative solutions and identifies gaps based on knowledge of Salesforce.
- Translates and conveys the overall business vision determined by the Salesforce Product Manager into technical requirements and tactics for development.
- Collaborates with key stakeholders, user groups and/or management to gather and support prioritization of complex requirements, providing recommendations, as appropriate.
- Collaboration with Salesforce Product Manager and other Salesforce Product owners to determine priorities of Salesforce backlog and works to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned at each stage of the development lifecycle.
- Provides subject matter expertise to clarify development requirements.
- Leverages data to influence and measure the overall adoption strategy to ensure deliverables, ROI, and key objectives are met.
- Carries out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. Complies with all company and site policies and procedures.
- Remains current in profession and industry trends.
- Makes a positive contribution as demonstrated by: - Making suggestions for improvement - Learning new skills, procedures, and processes.
- Performs other duties as required.
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
- 3 - 5 Years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, or a product-related role within a development team that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position. (Required)
- Salesforce experience in any industry, financial services knowledge a plus
- SAFe experience preferred
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret both internal and external documents such as general media/publications, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, policies, proposals, and standard operating procedures.
- Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Apply concepts such as probability, statistics, modeling, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.
- Works with mathematical concepts such as averages and/or variances.
- Ability to analyze information and to evaluate the implications of a course of action or solution.
- Ability to interpret and apply common sense understanding to carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Evaluate trends in data or information.
