Job Summary
This person will interface and lead the coordination of tech support efforts between Customers/End Users and HHI Field Sales, Customer Service, Customer Care, Engineering, Operations and our Technology Partner(s) for Kwikset UNITE. This person will also assist in leading Training programs, meetings and content for Kwikset UNITE.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
1. Provide Pre-deployment and Post Deployment Support
a. This support will/may be to End Users, Partners/Customers/installers and the HHI Field Sales Team.
b. This may be provided through virtual meetings, verbally over the phone, via e-mail, and in person. This includes but is not limited too.
i. New Account setup
ii. System design and implementation
iii. Installation training, device set up, new user set ups, credential setup
iv. Deployment of the system(s) to the cloud. Direct data entry on behalf of the End User or client based upon information provided by them to HHI
v. Project management, data collection
vi. Troubleshooting and Q&A
vii. Coordination of Factory support and field efforts
2. Field Sales Support – Estimating/Quoting
a. Assist HHI Field Sales staff with estimating and quoting support specifically for Kwikset UNITE
b. Assist with system design for quoting and or budgetary purposes
c. Read and evaluate plans and specifications. Help our customers blend Division 8 and 28 specifications into a single package and help to define scopes of work.
d. Provide digital mark ups of system designs, scope documents and BOMs.
3. Provide frontline Customer support for Kwikset UNITE
a. Trouble shooting and handling of incoming tickets from end users to Customer Care Team
b. Assist Field Sales Team members with on-site issues in the field
4. Trade Shows and Sales Events
a. Travel to and participate in Trade Shows which may be local, regional or national in nature.
b. Assist with or provide trainings at the shows
5. Reporting and Collaboration
a. Generate written reports of findings related to issues, system needs, customer requests, product defects or enhancements.
b. Participate in product development round tables. This includes the mechanical, mobile phone application and web portal systems.
c. Help respond to security breaches or threats
d. Help respond to system outages or impacts
Education and Experience Profile
Min. of 7 years of proven Electronic Access Control technical experience
- Bachelor’s degree or 7 years of equivalent work experience
Required Skills
Computer skills (Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SFDC preferred)
- Strategic presentation and networking skills
Work Environment
Ability to travel 40% of the time throughout the coverage region
