Job Summary
Participates in a graduate medical education fellowship which involves clinical care, didactics, scholarly activity and other related responsibilities as outlined for their specific graduation requirements set forth by the ACGME (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education) when applicable and the Residency Review Committee as well as other fellowship program, curricula, and institutional guidelines.
Essential Functions
Provides clinical, team-based care in a collaborative learning environment.
Participates in program didactics, lectures, and other educational activities and research activities as outlined in Fellowship Requirements
Investigate, evaluate, improve and appraise patient care based on self-evaluation & scientific evidence.
Effectively exchange information in collaboration with patients, families and other health professionals.
Adhere to ethical principles and demonstrate compassion, integrity and respect for others.
Provide optimal health care by awareness, responsiveness and effective use of other resources in the system.
Ensures that services are provided in accordance with state and Federal regulations, organizational policy, and accreditation / compliance requirements.
Comply with all ACGME institutional common and Residency Review Committee (RRC) requirements when applicable.
Effective collaboration and participation with colleagues regarding patient care and educational matters
Provide leadership to and supervise other medical learners
Demonstrate leadership in clinical operations
Qualifications
Required Doctorate
Residency Program Graduate Required
LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan required Or
LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan required
