JOB SUMMARY The Mgr, Inclusion is a member of the Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) team, and acts as a subject matter expert, internal consultant, and project manager to Charter Communications on complex projects pertaining to the people and culture pillars of the company’s D&I strategy. Supports D&I through business consulting services, including implementing and leading projects, business process design, D&I business case analysis, and advice on strategic D&I issues with an emphasis on data analysis and insight generation. Initiates and cultivates relationships with leaders and HR staff, assisting them in identifying barriers and opportunities in the talent cycle, specifically in employee recruitment, development, promotion, and retention. Supports business units and other stakeholders in creating and sustaining inclusive cultures and behaviors to drive business results and performance.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Support the Implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of Charter’s D&I strategic plan by aligning Charter’s practices and processes to support diversity objectives and aspirational goals
Research, evaluate, and propose industry best practices in D&I to be considered by leadership, human resources and other internal stakeholders
Contribute to and develop high quality communications, reports, and presentations on Charter’s D&I performance, data analysis, and insights
Influence Charter’s leadership through data analysis and the provision of insights to facilitate achievement of D&I aspirations at the business unit level as well as for Charter overall
Support the Director, VP, and SVP as they work with business and HR leaders to identify, recommend, and implement D&I solutions
Support the effective collaboration with Human Resources function
Support the engagement with external partners to maximize D&I resources offered to the Charter and its business units
Assist with developing, coordinating, and recommending changes for the improvement of workflow in the assigned area of work
Identify and manage inherent people and culture risks within Charter and assess and implement controls to mitigate those risks
May lead project teams, including the planning, assigning, and/or supervising the work of others
Perform other duties as requested
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Knowledge of D&I practices and principles, or equivalent relevant background Deep knowledge data analysis and ability to provide insights from data Highly skilled in adaptability, critical thinking, and collaboration/teamwork Ability to think strategically and operationally to scale solutions across business units and geographies Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite, web/internet navigation and demonstrated ability to learn new applications Visier trained a plus as well as ability to create graphs, tables, etc Proven written, oral, and high-level interpersonal communication skills Demonstrated presentation skills Proven consultative and negotiation skills Demonstrated ability to work with a rich mix of demographic groups and role model inclusive leadership Passionate about diversity & inclusion
Required Education Bachelor's degree, graduate coursework preferred, or equivalent experience
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years Relevant professional work experience in diversity & inclusion - 5
