JOB SUMMARY:
As a member of the Corporate Communications team, the incumbent will design moderate to complex products and features that directly impact the employee experience. The role will design innovative solutions by collaborating with all involved teams and support new and existing features across multiple applications.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the employee experience
Bring user-centered design (UCD) process methodology leadership to digital applications from concept to launch
Be the voice for the employee experience within the organization
Understands both front-end development and backend system capabilities.
Create designs and experiences for both web and mobile interfaces
Create personas and journey maps as a foundation to project work
Create information architecture and wireframes that both meet business goals and ensure a positive user experience
Work closely with the greater UX team to support cross-platform consistency, define application interactions, and identify usability testing needs
Work within cross-functional team to understand expectations, priorities, and necessary deliverables
Document, communicate and present your design ideas to fellow team members, stakeholders, executives, and clients
Participate in brainstorming sessions, and wireframe and design reviews to help solve problems
Be a fully engaged and positive member of a collaborative team
Manage multiple priorities and project timelines
Ensure the health of the product, feature, and relationships with clients
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Ability to demonstrate basic UI design skills via portfolio
Basic understanding of UX best practices
Ability to deliver against several initiatives simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience creating highly-detailed annotated wireframes, user flows, and process flows within consumer applications
Understanding of platform specific nomenclature
The ability to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage UX work
Strong time management skills and the ability to be self-directed when needed
Strong client (presentation) communication skills and the ability to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
Experience with project estimation
Experience planning and facilitating user research and usability tests including A/B and multi-variant testing
Experience creating personas and employee journey maps
Experience leading complex UX projects
Education
Bachelor's degree in Design / HCI / Related Field or equivalent real world experience

UX design experience with at least 60% focus on UX 3 – 6
Proficient with common Interface Tools (Axure, Omnigraffle, Balsamiq, Sketch)
