Responsibilities

This is an exciting new opportunity for a Charlotte based self-motivated and driven IT Supply Chain Systems Analyst that will focus on providing our customers the best Supply Chain Systems in the industry.  The position will lead our team in documenting the business needs with the business users interpreting their needs into design documents that will be used by our developers in designing the solution.  The position will also be responsible for documentation, design and deliver of end user reporting for our 3pl and 4 walls Charlotte DC reporting.  The position will reside in our Charlotte, NC DC and the candidate will be expected to be onsite for the majority of days. 

• Assist with obtaining specifications from the Business (users) to obtain specifications related to changes in the business functions for projects
• This position is also responsible for report creation with report tools, PowerBI and SSRS, primarily concentrated with relational databases, and data mining large volumes of data using query tools such as SQL Server Management Studio(SSMS) and an understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL) at an intermediate level
• Maintenance of reports in response to individual and/or business unit requests
• Analyze system problems
• Meet and collaborate with stakeholders to understand Supply Chain system data, information, and analytic needs of their business units
• Use relevant tools to develop the right solution to meet customer data needs
• Monitor the performance of module-specific reporting inventory and take corrective action as necessary to optimize performance and mitigate negative consequences for customers and production servers

Qualifications

• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Adhere to work instructions/procedures regarding documentation and standard operating procedures of software development and delivery
• Min 8 yrs in IT Business Analysis role
• Analytical mindset
• Some SQL, HTML, Java, C#
• MS office products
• Experience with reporting packages
• General requirements in an integrated delivery system
• Desired experience for report writer includes:
  • Writes ad-hoc reports, queries, uploads, and downloads
• Acts as an internal and external consultant across the departments and systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related areas
• At core, is an analyst, intrigued and driven by the challenge of creating information from data
• Self-motivated, self-directed and independent thinking effective team player
