What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temp - Capture & Scanning Technician position at Sphere Entertainment?
Photogrammetry Technician is responsible for capturing and basic processing of photogrammetry images, lidar scans, prop scanner(s), and UAS data for multiple downstream uses. The technician will work in studio and travel to capture locations. The Photogrammetry Technician role requires adaptation to new and unique data capture scenarios.
What will you do?
• Operation and routine maintenance of Lidar scanner(s).
• Processing of Lidar data.
• Operation and routine maintenance of DSLR camera kit.
• Operation and routine maintenance of Roundshot robotic camera head.
• Operation and routine maintenance of Prop scanner(s).
• Basic processing of hybrid lidar/photogrammetry data sets.
• Working with downstream artists for any pipeline requirements to make data camera/game ready.
• Maintain all field gear used for data collection
What do you need to succeed?
Required:
• 3 years experience with Lidar capture and data processing.
• 3 years experience with Photogrammetry capture and data processing.
• Extensive photographic technique and hardware knowledge
• In depth knowledge of Adobe suite
• In depth knowledge of Reality Capture software
• In depth knowledge of Faro Scene
• In depth knowledge of PTgui
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to walk up to 3 miles.
Desired:
• FAA 107 registered drone pilot
• Artec Studio data capture and processing
• In Depth knowledge of Metashape software & scripting
• Unreal software experience
• Z-Brush software experience.
• Maya software experience
• Mari software experience.
• Python scripting experience

Salary : $54,200 - $68,700
