Job details Spherion is hiring Dietary Aides for a local housing community in Wichita Falls. Hiring for part time and full time openings, call the office for specific shift availability.
Responsibilities :
1. Processes dietary orders, diet order forms, and census sheets.
2. Kardex entrees, menus and other related duties to the care residents. ... 3. Writes modified diets with guidance from the Consulting Dietitian for new admissions according to established patterns in the ?
spreadsheets? and / or the approved Diet Manual.
4. Prepares food production work sheets for the food required in the skilled care unit.
5. Assists in the orientation and on-the-job training of newly employed Health Care Aides and instructs personnel in the use, care, and maintenance of equipment used to provide food service to the residents.
6. Supervises Aides in sanitation, safety and security practices in accordance with the standards established by the facility and maintains a schedule for cleaning of health care equipment used to provide food service.
7. Plans daily personnel schedules, which he / she coordinates with the Director of Dining Services, utilizing a master rotation, plans and monitors and makes necessary adjustments in daily personnel coverage.
8. Assists and supervises stocking of necessary health care food supplies and determines that correct entrees are made on the weekly Health Care Supply Requisition Sheet.
Working hours : 6 : 00 AM - 8 : 00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills :
- Must be able to do simple math to calculate diet needs.
- Must possess knowledge of normal nutrition routines and special diets as well as portion control and the operation of food service equipment.

- Must have a HSD or GED
- Must submit to a background check and drug screen
