Summary/Primary Purpose: To drive truck/van for collection of donations for Pantry, Thrift Store, or other Corps programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Make routine contacts for purpose of scheduling/organizing daily pick- ups of food and other donations.
- Drive truck/van to pick up donations as scheduled
- Distribute donations to proper departments as required
- Oversee loading/unloading of truck ensuring the safety of personnel and volunteers
- Interact with donors in a positive and friendly manner
- Responsible for truck/van maintenance and safety
- Sort, box, organize drop box donations for storage in garage
- Driving is an essential function of the position.
- All other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages Volunteers.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and related experience in driving 14-foot box truck, including truck into close spaces, such as docks and alleys.

- Ability to be flexible and able to work on multiple projects or tasks simultaneously
- Ability to utilize fork lift and pallet jack.
- Basic computer skills with ability to access payroll, timekeeping and personal data via a web-based system.
- Attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong independent judgement.
