Field employees work to calibrate equipment, program and automate systems, and perform instrumentation and equipment work on client sites.
Lab employees take samples that have been collected in the field and run a multitude of tests for environmental factors and quality of the product. We also have a blending lab that works to create the chemicals that other companies use to calibrate their analytical equipment.
The Production Analytics team audits existing field structures and design, balances our client’s entire systems, and allocates royalties to maximize profits.

Position Summary
The Lab Log-In Technician I must be team oriented, proactive and goal driven. This position is responsible for receiving oil and gas samples and the log-in (data entry) of the Chain of Custody and sample information into the LIMS system. Works under the general supervision of the Log-In Supervisor.
Essential Responsibilities
Review paperwork for all incoming samples to ensure completeness and correctness;
Inspect samples to ensure sample matrix and integrity is not compromised;
Make sure all samples are placed in proper storage area to await analysis;
Assist with customer/client questions via phone and e-mail as needed;
Clerical duties such as filing, faxing, scanning, mailing, etc. as needed;

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED;
Must be proficient in MS Office;
Excellent communication and computer skills;
Customer Service oriented must have excellent phone presence and etiquette;
Excellent data entry skills (1 year or plus);
Must be a team player;
Willing and able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task;
Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize assignments.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Must be able to carry equipment (not to exceed 75 lbs.) up and down steps. At times, multiple trips of this nature (due to more than 50 lbs. of equipment) maybe required;
Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, safety glasses, hard hats;
safety boots, and ear plugs/muffs;
Working extended hours and varying shifts are often required;
May be exposed to hazardous noise levels at work sites on an occasional basis;
May be required to work in tight quarters;
May be required to work at elevated heights;
Must be able to move lift min of 50lbs;
Must be able to stand and sit for various lengths of time.
