The Assistant Manager is primarily responsible for supporting the Community Manager in the general administration and physical operation of the apartment community. A strong emphasis should be placed on the timely collection and posting of all rental payments to ensure maximum possible collections are obtained each month.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- At least one year leasing experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the ability to learn new software applications quickly.
- Collect rent and prepare late notices.
- Post the Cash Receipts Journal daily, maintain current tenant ledger cards, and make bank deposits on a daily basis.
- Assist Community Manager with processing and coding property invoices.
- Assist with on-site or management-resident relations.
- Must possess the ability to maintain a professional image and attitude in keeping with the objectives of the community and the residents' welfare.
- Must respect residents' privacy and maintain confidentiality of all aspects of the community.
- Must have the ability to comply with all governmental laws and regulations, including but not limited to fair housing, environmental and safety laws and regulations.
- Must have valid driver's license, proper automobile liability insurance and dependable transportation that is in good operating condition.
