Sport Clips is now interviewing for a District/Area Manager position for the eastern Greater Pittsburgh area/Central PA.
District/Area Managers contribute to the success of Sport Clips by supervising and leading Store Managers to ensure friendly, professional, efficient, and courteous service is provided to customers in a clean, well maintained store environment. District/Area Managers also provide leadership as well as service Clientele in one of their area stores. They help create a positive team culture in all stores they oversee.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Hiring, training, development and performance criteria of Managers and Stylists. Manage operations for Area; provide leadership and direct supervision to managers; and motivate managers and employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.
- Managing a team of hair stylists / barbers and servicing Clients in home store
- Ensure excellent customer service by providing information, resolving problems and answering questions for managers, employees, and clients.
- Develop local store incentive contests to support overall marketing objectives.
- Hold area and/or store meetings to promote team building, culture and communication
- Support Managers to ensure schedules are covered and optimum service is provided.
- Investigate all potential loss prevention issues, recommend, and take appropriate action, as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Degree or equivalent (GED) required; (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years management experience in a salon or retail/service/hospitality company is preferred
- Hair Stylist / Barber experience required
- A proven track record in marketing products and services, relationship building with both internal and external customers and project management experience
- Prior experience in a hair salon is required
- Holding a current Ohio cosmetology license is required
