Sports & Sports, a leading sporting goods and screen-printing company, is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Customer Service Representative
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your primary responsibilities will include answering customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
General Duties:
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS AS NEEDED: (Sat 10a-4p Sun Noon-4p)
- Must be available to work Mornings/Day Shift & Early Evenings
Our hours of operation are:
Monday-Friday 9am – 6pm
Saturday 10am – 4pm
Sunday Noon – 4pm
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, & chat to answer any inquiries
- Take new orders on custom items & specialty services such as Embroidery & Letterman's jackets
- Perform outbound calls to inform customers their order is complete and ready for pickup
- Transfer sales calls and inquiries to the appropriate department or salesperson.
- Analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions or recommendations
- Communicating customer requests & order information to other employees & departments such as , Art/Design, Embroidery/Sewing & E-Commerce.
- Provide excellent phone etiquette by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor at all times
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective resolution of customer issues and requests
Position may also include secondary duties such as:
- Heat Pressing apparel and other items
- Inventory tracking and re-stocking
- Sorting items and cutting out Cad-Cut lettering for customer orders
- Closing Process (balancing cash drawer, closing of retail storefront, finalizing daily paperwork, securely closing the building)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Providing hands-on customer service within the retail sales floor (helping customers with sizing and fitment of apparel and shoes)
- Basic knowledge of local schools, teams and organizations is preferred but not required. (Madison, Geneva, Conneaut, Jefferson, Edgewood, Lakeside, St. John, Perry & Pymatuning Valley)
- Ability to effectively sell products or services to customers
- Basic computer skills needed to operate the front register (will train)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness and ability to learn sports-related products and options to provide adequate service to both new and existing customers.
