Human Resource Generalist
Location: North Liberty, IA
Status: Full-Time
Schedule: M-F (8a -5p), no weekends required

Core Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide support services for employees regarding all HR matters.
- Assist with development, implementation, maintenance, and enforcement of policies.
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and hard copy form; process paperwork.
- Responsible for talent acquisition and onboarding processes, including interviewing, conducting orientation, and benefit enrollment.
- Administer and maintain benefit plans, including leave programs, ADA, and worker’s compensation. Assist with benefit renewal and open enrollment.
- Address performance and behavioral concerns, handling grievances, and coordinating problem resolution.
- Help coordinate enterprise performance management processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state labor regulations.
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics.
- Help identify and fulfill training & development initiatives.
- Perform offboarding duties such as exit interviews, unemployment matters, and processing related changs.
- Process and approve bi-weekly employee payroll.
- Help ensure that Spotix follows HR best practices and that our HR efforts align with our company strategic initiatives and culture.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Skills and Proficiencies:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and juggle multiple priorities
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with, or ability to quickly learn, Spotix HRIS (BambooHR) and ERP (NetSuite by Oracle)
- Strong self direction skills and problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent teamwork with a results driven approach
Job Requirements:
- BS/BA in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or Industrial Organizational Psychology; with a minimum of 3-5 years generalist experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Thorough knowledge of HR principles and employment related laws and regulations
