Summary: The Procurement Analyst is a liaison between Procurement, Sales, Operations and IT. He/she is responsible for quality assurance of Procurement Data and owns reporting with regards to product data, inventory data, and service level. He/she is also responsible for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to optimize service levels for SPR customers.
The Procurement Analyst performs a variety of customer related analyses and produce standard and custom reports to monitor the service for key customers. There is a significant amount of customer contact, and success in this role requires close communication and coordination with other functional departments within SPR Headquarters. The working environment is fast paced requiring the ability to work on several projects at one time.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Education and/or Experience:
Undergraduate degree preferred. Three to five years experience in analyzing business processes.
Knowledge of SPR business processes across multiple functional areas a plus.
Computer Skills:
Experience with database queries and Microsoft Office applications required.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to document business processes and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Organizational Skills:
Must be detail oriented and exceptional in organization techniques. Must be self-motivated, with ability to set and achieve goals, and set priorities of multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make sound business process decisions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
