The Samples Operations Coordinator is a highly organized, self-driven, data-oriented individual with a demonstrated background in analytics and logistical coordination.
Job Description
The Sample Department Manager leads and directly contributes to the efficient and effective sample department management and organization. Preparation, fulfillment and support of samples and other marketing materials needed to ensure the success of the department including all sample department process, photography and content management.
The Sample Department Manager will:
- Manage the team’s daily operations- coaching, developing and leading them to achieve department goals and objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve overall company processes, identify enhancements, alignment, and achieve goals on time.
- Create and maintain samples by factory and create all documents in all database.
- Determine the wholesale and MSRP, margin, costing and other requirements.
- Oversee the photography process, setting priorities to meet deadlines maintaining and efficient flow.
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years demonstrated experience in Samples environment.
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred; and/or related work experience in lieu of degree
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Strong interpersonal skills, previous management experience required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities. Ability to think outside the box and provide solutions.
- Assertive and cooperative with ability to motivate others to succeed.
- Must have strong time management, multi-tasking and initiative and drive.
- Computer proficiency required, OMS knowledge a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Highly proficient in Excel.
- Team player; Able to work with diverse group in a team environment.
This is an onsite position. No hybrid or remote option is offered at this time.
