Duties:
- Perform nursing procedures such as administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs
- Assist with diagnostic procedures, including spinal taps and specimen collection processing
- Provide care for infants and children, including feeding, diapering, and monitoring developmental milestones
- Administer basic IV therapy and monitor patients' response to treatment
- Assist with minor surgical procedures, such as suturing and Botox injections
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information accurately and timely using electronic medical record systems (e.g., Cerner)
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare topics and self-care techniques
Skills:
- Valid LPN license in the state of [Location]
- Experience working with infants, children, and adults in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in performing nursing procedures such as wound care, basic IV therapy, and specimen collection processing
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely using proper body mechanics
