Job brief
As the Executive Assistant, your ultimate responsibility is optimizing Spur's leadership team by performing simple to complex administrative duties. In this role, you will support a multi-disciplinary team of five executives, facilitating correspondence, completing research, compiling data and information, and maintaining compliant business operations. From human resources to sales and customer success, you will obsess over providing world-class support to Spur’s executive team. You will be a trusted agent handling sensitive and confidential information. As the Executive Assistant, you will represent Spur with the highest professionalism, ultimately serving as an extension of Spur’s leadership team to internal and external stakeholders. Lastly, you are energetic, enthusiastic, and genuinely excited about Spur’s mission to power the progress of the hardworking. This position may require occasional travel and will require some in-office duties. Hybrid work opportunity.

What you’ll do
- Provide research-based and operational support to our leadership team.
- Perform routine and time-sensitive administrative tasks from calendaring and communication to operations, travel, reporting, and process improvement.
- Manage special projects assigned by members of the leadership team.
- Optimize the CEO’s time by reading, researching, routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information.
- Assist in maintaining compliant business operations associated with government reporting, HR policies and procedures, federal and state regulations, business licenses, and business/workers' compensation insurance.
- Support the Software Development team with research and testing new features and functionality.
- Represent Spur at business development and networking events.
- Serve as Spur’s office manager facilitating IT requests, coordinating office supplies and resources, managing office maintenance requests, completing mail runs, and distributing incoming mail.
- Provide administrative support for key meetings (reserving rooms, meals, calendar invites for internal and external parties and preparation of necessary materials)
- Take meeting notes, organize project plans, and conduct follow-ups to ensure milestones are being met.
- Plan essential business outings and events on an ad hoc basis.

- Exceptional communication skills and ability to combine human strengths with digital know-how.

- Advanced proficiency with Google Suite, including Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Slides.
