Spurwink's ShifaME program is seeking a clinician to provide outpatient counseling services for immigrant and refugee youth in the Greater Portland Area. The clinician will be based out of our office in downtown Portland working with a team of cultural brokers and care coordinators. In this unique role, the clinician will provide counseling in office, community, and home environments and will receive training in Trauma Systems Therapy for Refugees. This is a unique opportunity to learn an evidence-based practice with regular consultation and work with a highly collaborative and diverse team.
This position also includes a $3500 sign-on bonus, $1750 paid upon 3 months of full-time employment, $1750 paid after 6 months of employment. This sign-on bonus applies to new hires.

DUTIES:
The ShifaME clinician will provide counseling services to refugee children in Portland and Westbrook. Clinicians will receive individual and group supervision, as well as training and consultation in Trauma Systems Therapy, adapted for Refugees (TSTR).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Clinicians must be licensed in the state of Maine or eligible for licensure as an LMSWcc, LCSW, LCPCc, or LCPC.
