QA Automation Engineer (Mid-level Experience)

Who You Are
You are an experienced and passionate Automation Engineer who is looking for an opportunity in a startup where you can grow with the company and help expand the existing skillsets of the QA team. You pay attention to detail, have a knack for finding bugs and are excited by the opportunity to help support the Engineering team. You are comfortable picking up new technical skills while maintaining productivity with minimal supervision in a fast-paced Agile environment.
What You Will Do
- Create, execute and maintain automated tests and written test plans/cases for our SaaS web applications
- Promote a culture of continuous testing in the SDLC utilizing concepts such as Data Driven Testing, test fixtures, setup, teardown, mocking etc.
- Work closely with product stakeholders, developers, devops to appropriately automate coverage for all features
- Streamline and refactor existing code bases by applying appropriate programming skills and concepts utilizing Pytest/Python3/Selenium/Playwright
Your Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 4 recent years of professional experience testing SaaS web applications and systems.
- Recent working knowledge of Python3, Pytest, React
- Experience building automated tests using Selenium, Playwright
- Experience integrating automated tests into a CI/CD pipeline (AWS, GitHub Actions)
- Experience with AWS and Docker
- Experience with documentation/bug tracking tools. We use Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence)
- Experience with a distributed version control system. We use Git
- Excellent communication skills
