Job Posting for Industrial Sewing Machine Operator at SR Design Inc.

We are looking for experienced seamstresses with skills in making window treatments, pillows, cushions, and etc. You’ll ensure the interminable and efficient running of production. We need a great sewing machine operator that is reliable and is able to work with attention to detail. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.

Responsibilities

  • Test operation of machines periodically
  • Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
  • Maintain activity logs

Skills

  • Proven experience as a machine operator
  • Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)
  • Understanding of production procedures
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
  • Analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Physical stamina and strength
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift

COVID-19 considerations:
Wear masks and must be fully vaccinated.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Sewing: 10 years (Preferred)

Language:

  • English (Preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift (Preferred)
  • Night Shift (Preferred)
