Pay: $75000 - $95000 / year
Job Summary:
The Senior Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including onboarding staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. A Human Resource (HR) Generalist is a professional who is responsible for making sure that employees follow all policies and procedures. They are responsible for creating new onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees about their rights.
Responsibilities
- Conduct workplace investigations. Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries.
- Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Develop and recommend operating policy and procedural improvements.
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics
- Conducts exit interviews, summarizes findings, and discusses trends and concerns with senior management.
- Perform specific research/investigation into operational issues, as requested.
- Develop and maintain talent management processes.
- Prepare and maintain company salary structure, job documentation, and job evaluation systems.
- Manage all administrative aspects of Workers Compensation and Leave Management
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Human Resources experience in a high-volume environment
- Multi-State Human Resources experience a plus
- Experience in Restaurant or Hospitality industry preferred
