Position: Data Architect
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 months
Description
Must Haves:
Team: Will be dedicated resource for all existing and new data architecture (SME). Will not have any direct reports, but heavily involved with Data Engineering teams.
This resource will be a sole contributor/SME dedicated to both their existing/new data architecture. They will not have any direct reports, but will work with the Data Engineering teams on projects often.
This Data Architect will be work to define and govern the data landscape under the Data Engineering and Data Science realm. This will include taking enterprise standards/policies and applying them to data architecture deliverables working alongside PMs, stakeholders, engineers, etc. Projects will include defining EDW/MDM solutions and integrations; architecting an Azure cloud environment; and setting data governance post integration. Skills needed here will be data modeling (EDW/MDM), Azure architecture, SQL integrations, and data profiling in Metadata management (Collibra & Alation).
We'll also need a strong communicator as they will be interfacing with key stakeholders through these projects too.
