SQL Reporting Developer

Job Description

Responsibilities Include:

• Estimate, design and develop complex financial and audit reports
• Design and implement data file export to client applications
• Work closely with the product owners and analysts to design, model, and develop changes for both new and existing projects
• Tune queries for better application and system performance, in both hosted and customer-premise environments
• Triage production issues by reviewing code and logs as needed to implement temporary workarounds and permanent fixes
• Provide timely status of projects
• Perform other duties as requested

Required Qualification:

• 3 years of experience in developing Reporting using SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Service) or other comparable tool.
• 3 years of experience writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures
• 3 years of experience working with MS SQL Server 2016 or higher
• Good knowledge or experience in deployment and administration of SSRS Reports and Report Server
• Expert knowledge or experience in creating parameterized reports, drill down reports and scheduled reports
• Good understanding of data models and relational database concepts
• Experience with software development lifecycle and software development common practices (source control and branching, code reviews, unit testing etc.)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3 years of experience in application development
• Previous Experience with Financial Reporting
• Experience with SSAS, Tableau or Power BI
