What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager of Human Resources position at SSM Health?
Plans and manages operational activities of one or more Human Resources functional areas.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designs, plans, and implements human resources programs and policies to achieve the strategic business plan. Programs include staffing, compensation, benefits, visa/green card processing, employee relations, training, and/or health and safety.
- Mediates and/or resolves employee disputes/issues. Ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Leads the development and implementation of Human Resources initiatives.
- Ensures completion and maintenance of employee records and documents.
- Analyzes the current state of HR processes, leads, develops, and implements steps needed to automate and streamline processes to ensure operational excellence, high reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Responsible for management functions including activities related to staffing such as recruitment, hiring, performance evaluation, and compensation determination.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience or education

- Five years experience, with two years in leadership
