Job Summary:
Oversee teams who are responsible for specific accounting processes, transactions, and reconciliations. Specific areas of focus will include the end-to-end accounting process management for Fixed Assets, Cash, Intercompany, Payroll (accounting, not processing) and Joint Ventures. Accountable for ensuring that key performance indicators are met and for adherence to service level agreements for delivery and quality.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reconciles daily cash deposits from patient accounts.
Manages all external bank accounts and bank reconciliations.
Monitors and tracks capital projects and budget spending.
Develops fixed asset policies and procedures.
Ensures accounts are reconciled monthly to the General Ledger.
Works with regional and corporate leadership on capital project concerns.
Ensures all leases are recorded properly and reconciled to the General Ledger.
Reviews and approves capital projects and fixed-asset acquisitions.
Develops, implements, and maintains general accounting systems and controls ensuring best practice standards across the institution and in line with corporate guidance and assures staff compliance to those procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree
EXPERIENCE
Seven years' experience, with five years' in leadership
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
Rare climbing.
