STRATEGY DIRECTOR ROLE

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take a leadership role in the ongoing advancement of our clients’ overall brand, communications, and digital visions, concepts and strategies
- Define brand, communication, and digital strategies, and articulate them through clear presentations, inspiring workshops, and collaborative sessions with creatives and designers
- Guide clients and internal teams to strategic decisions, illustrating concepts through clear frameworks and diagrams when necessary (including strategic decks, responses and creative briefs)
- Forge strategic client relationships that last beyond our initial engagement
- Guide and present strategic responses to clients and prospective clients in business development scenarios
- The role will require contribution to the growth of the agency and department through development of best practices and cross-department initiatives
- Encourage innovation, process, and development of brand planning, digital strategy capabilities, and Empathy Applied methodology
- Support the ongoing development of more junior members of the SSR team and a culture of shared learning
- Advocate for sound strategic delivery and implementation of best practices
EXPERIENCE
- Proven agency experience applying strategic thinking to complex brand or digital challenges, with a demonstrable track record in achieving and exceeding KPIs
- Diverse experience supported by both strategic and tactical skills needed to successfully direct multiple projects for various clients and industries
- Leadership abilities to be able to supervise the strategic planning process
- Strong understanding of branding, communications, and omnichannel marketing, and ensuring digital is fully embedded in all initiatives.
- Possession of excellent written and oral presentation skills, particularly the ability to articulate a compelling brand strategy, digital experience, and customer story.
- While not hands-on with the design or development itself, your fluency in digital processes and deliverables can empower the makers on SSR’s team
- 8 years in brand strategy and/or digital marketing embedded in all initiatives.

Pay: $69,901.00 - $184,242.00 per year
