What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Director position at St. Anthony Preschool?
\The director oversees the daily operation of the preschool. They are responsible for the safety and health of the children, staff and families.
*They must retain and recruit qualified staff.
*Maintain preschool licensing and accreditation.
*Follow all Diocesan and Hawaii Catholic school policies.
*Responsible for the finance stability of the preschool.
Preschool center director oversees the quality of the educational and spiritual components of the school’s preschool program. The preschool director is accountable to the pastor of the Church.
The preschool director is a member of the school’s executive committee of the Board when It is the preschool director’s responsibility to orient the Board to the school’s mission, goals, programs and major concerns
Preschool Director must be a practicing Catholic living a lifestyle consistent with Catholic moral values and exercises professional conduct consistent with Catholic teacher.(canon 403.2).
Preschool Director must have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science or Education.
At least nine (9) credit hours of specialized college-level coursework related to school administration/management.
At least twenty-four (24) credit hours of college-level work in early childhood education, child development, elementary education or special education.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
