Finance Coordinator

The Finance Coordinator reports to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor and is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services. This includes processing/monitoring vendor invoices, payments and communication with vendors and other financial related tasks.  Providing these services effectively and efficiently will ensure finances are accurate and up to date, and vendors and suppliers are paid within established time limits.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform the day-to-day processing of accounts payable transactions to ensure finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner.
• Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for services rendered. Ensure proper approvals have been secured.
• Prepare invoices for data entry. Responsible for coding invoices with terminal diagnosis and pricing for the upper management to approve or deny.
• Processing denial letters, denial follow up such as phone calls, email and faxes.
• Data enter invoices for payment.
• Monthly Accounts Payable upload entries.
• Assist with employee cash reimbursement and credit cards expense reports, including reviewing expenses, verifying receipts to expenses and posting to the general ledger. 
• Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with vendors.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial and employee files.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/Payroll experience.
• Healthcare or Hospice industry experience preferred.
• Must have strong work ethic, be well organized and a self-starter.
• Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable.
• Proficient in Excel
• Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures.
