Assembly/Warehouse Project Kitting Specialist
The Assembly/Warehouse Project Kitting Specialist is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate issuing of materials required to process manufacturing work orders/jobs, inventory stocking, maintaining inventory counts accurately and conduct daily/weekly cycle counts.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively within the materials and supply chain teams.
- Issuing hardware and sub assembly components and other product materials to assembly work orders via ERP materials pick list.
- Packaging products using specified containers and protective padding.
- Operates a hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store parts.
- Responsible for performing/coordinating weekly cycle counts with the materials team.
- Works with Plant Operations and engineering teams to reconcile any inventory variances.
- Meet and/or exceed KPI targets.
- Establishes and maintains safety operations by adhering to procedures and policies.
- Completes housekeeping around work areas as assigned.
- Assist with creating warehouse procedures and warehouse organization.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
- Prior work experience with materials inventory and/or exposure to an ERP application.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stay organized and multitask.
- Experience with MS Office products.
- Ability to lift 30-50lbs on a daily basis.
- Computer skills.
- High attention to detail and high level of accuracy a must.
