What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Pantry Assistant position at St. Francis House, Inc.?
The Food Pantry/Warehouse worker is a position with St. Francis House, Inc of Little Rock. This is a great position with excellent benefits. This position is responsible for helping with the efficient collection, stocking, packaging and distribution of our food items to the homeless and needy at our facility. Must be a fast thinker, able to solve problems efficiently and think proactively.

Qualifications:
o High School diploma/GED plus one (1) year of inventory OR one (1) of food service/hospitality experience
o Valid driver's license with no suspensions
o A criminal conviction or arrest pending adjudication alone shall not disqualify an applicant except as provided by law
Physical Requirements:
§ Continuously standing, walking, lifting, bending, crouching, kneeling, stooping and reaching overhead.
§ Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry weight from 26-50lbs.
§ Continuous physical environment, some high noise level.
§ Must be able to work with pallets using a pallet jack.
§ Lifting heavy boxes of canned food, packaged food and bottled liquids.
Other Duties:
o Transports food and/or supplies to various distances around Little Rock using St. Francis Box Truck with lift gate.
o Follow standard safety protocols
o Other duties assigned as needed.
