Hours: 8:00AM - 8:30PM
Status: Full-Time
Pay: $39.85/hour - $49.37/hour depending upon experience
Job Summary:
The Social Worker is responsible for providing a variety of direct and related services to patients, their families, and the professional staff. Incumbent is guided by a thorough knowledge of the psycho-social evaluation process, social work intervention, rules and regulations of the Dept. of Health, Education, Welfare, and the rules & regulations of the hospital. Responsibilities includes completes psychosocial - intakes and complete assessment of a patient's psychiatric, social, emotional and personal functioning. Completes collaborative treatment planning and implements patient centered services, involving family and/or care partners in the treatment plan process when possible. Conducts individual, group psychotherapy sessions as assigned and as prescribed by the treatment plan.
Requirements/Skills:
- Masters of Social Work
- A valid N.Y.S LMSW or LCSW required
- 1-3 years previous experience in a behavioral health or hospital setting
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- PMCS
- Must be able to problem solve and think critically
- Must be computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be highly organized, work with the interdisciplinary team
Salary : $40 - $49
