Since 1976, St. Joseph Center has been meeting the needs of low-income and homeless individuals and families in Venice, Santa Monica, Mar Vista, and surrounding communities. The Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community organization that assists people without regard for religious affiliation or lack thereof through comprehensive case management and integrated social service programs. The Center enjoys broad-based community support as well as a sponsored relationship with its founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. St. Joseph Center serves approximately 6,000 individuals annually.
Brief Description of Principal Activities
Multifaceted intervention, prevention, and education services are carried out at four sites on the Westside of Los Angeles. St. Joseph Center’s integrated programs provide clients with concentrated and coordinated access to services according to the nature of their needs.

Job Summary
The Program Coordinator serves as part of the program leadership team who oversees and assists with services collection and coordination as well as data entry within the Program Division of the agency. Coordinates with several social service professionals and paraprofessional staff ensuring the delivery of quality service recording for programs and agency services as well as adhering to the mission of St. Joseph Center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The coordinator's key areas of responsibility and essential duties include:
- Provides service coordination and recording support and guidance.
- Coordinates with program staff and leadership on services report deadlines.
- Performs administrative functions necessary for the program's operation and assures the attainment of program services collection, goals, and objectives.
- Coordinates and compiles service gaps, develops, and improves service and data clean-up operations in coordination with leadership.
- Identifies and coordinates reporting training needs for staff and programs.
- Ensures coordination and collaboration with Programs on Quarterly Annual Performance Report clean-up and submissions.
- Collaborates with the data and compliance departments during program audits.
- Aids in service outcome tracking, updates, and coordinates leadership on performance targets and processing activities.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Must be highly motivated and a self-starter. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks; effectively arrange a calendar; maintain confidentiality of sensitive matters and documents.
- Must have excellent administrative, organizational, and leadership skills.
- High proficiency with Word/ Excel/Clarity and desktop applications.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and HUD HMIS Data Standards as they relate to data privacy and information security, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the non-profit sector, particularly in understanding the specific challenges and data needs within the areas of housing, homeless assistance, mental health, and/or workforce development.
Experience:
- Three years of administrative/data experience in the non-profit sector.
- Experience with contracts and outcome tracking.
- Experience working with HMIS/EHR systems (e.g., Clarity, ServicePoint, Exym, CHAMP), highly desirable.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent knowledge and experience.
Computer Skills:
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and widely supported internet browsers.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
- Valid California Class C Driver's License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
- Valid automobile liability insurance.

Additional Information
Status: Full time/Non-Exempt
Salary: $60,000 to 65,000
