Under the direction of the Learning Center Manager, the Learning Center Coordinator serves provides administrative support to the Learning Center. They must demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills, a commitment to teamwork, and strong organization and time management skills.
Responsibilities include performing administrative tasks supporting the Learning Center including coordination of the American Heart Association Training Center, student services, scheduling for orientation and other Learning Center classes. This position requires high-level computer skills to be used in various software programs and websites, Microsoft Office suite, excellent customer service skills, teamwork, organization, and flexibility.
PRIMARY (ESSENTIAL) DUTIES

Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, customer service, organization, teamwork, and time management skills complying always with the policies and procedures of the Medical Center. Demonstrates a commitment to the mission and values of St Joseph Regional Medical Center (SJRMC).

Assures accuracy of all work completed.

Administrator of the Learning Management System responsible for creating and running reports for use by the department.

Collaborates with Human Resources department and the Clinical Educators to ensure all newly hired staff have an optimal experience by being thoroughly prepared from their first day through the end of their introductory period.

Ensures accuracy of computerized records for the Learning Center, identifies missing information or discrepancies in a timely manner.

Assists with developing, coordinating, maintaining, and troubleshooting technology and information systems utilized by the Learning Center.

American Heart Association Training Center Coordinator, this may include but not limited to course registration, communication with regional instructors, billing, accounts receivable, and deposits to appropriate accounts.

Student Services Coordinator, this may include but not limited to application review, correspondence, verifications, record keeping, collaboration with instructors, colleges, and SJRMC supervisors/directors.
