What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aide position at St. Joseph?
Polaris of St. Joseph is seeking a full-time Dietary Aide to join our team of professionals. You will be joining a collaborative dietary team dedicated to improving the lives of our residents through nutrition. You will be responsible for the preparation, service, and clean up of meals served to residents.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Report safety and sanitation concerns of kitchen equipment and structure to Dietary Manager and Maintenance Manager.
- Follows food safety and sanitation guidelines per company policy and state and federal codes and regulations.
- Sets/clears dining room tables for meals.
- Sets up and deliver the food carts to the appropriate resident unit.
- Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and other areas where food is stored and/or served (including dining room).
- Carries out responsibility for delivery, storage, including labeling, and appropriate utilization of food supplies.
- Must be able to perform dishwashing duties as needed.
- Attends and participates in scheduled in-service training.
- Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time.

Requirements:
- MUST be a team player
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year experience in a large-scale cooking operation preferred
- Reliable transportation; minimal travel for facility supplies
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination or exemption
