This full-time (40 hours/week) role consists of typically working Monday - Friday daytime hours, with 1-2x/week working until 7-7:30p.
What you will do:
Empower people to live their best life by providing supports in the home and out in the community for our CONNECT Program families
- Provide one-on-one support to five to seven adults living independently, and act as an advocate in all aspects of life
- Assisting with various life skills including, but not limited to, everyday household needs, personal hygiene, community and social access, finances, transportation, and household responsibilities
- Create and support community based relationships for individuals in the CONNECT program
- Teach technical skills, use of devices, and apps to novice users with and without disabilities
- Communicate with individual’s family members, case managers, job supports, etc.
- Document progress towards outcomes per funding guidelines

What we expect of you:
The flexible, respectful individual we see is an innovative and quick thinker with these qualifications
- Associate’s degree in social work, human services, or related field
- One to three years of experience with working with families that include people with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred - case management experience a plus!
- Valid Driver's license and auto insurance at time of hire
- CPR/First Aid - provided by St. Louis Arc at no cost
