This position will oversee marketing and advertising efforts for select touring shows, including concerts, comedy shows, family shows and sporting events, as well as manage the day-to-day communications and marketing needs for these events and other key department functions as assigned.

Enterprise Center and Stifel Theatre seek qualified candidates for the position of Manager, Communications and Event Marketing. This position will oversee marketing and advertising efforts for select touring shows, including concerts, comedy shows, family shows and sporting events, as well as manage the day-to-day communications and marketing needs for these events and other key department functions as assigned.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and supervise marketing and communications plans for select arena and theatre events, as assigned, including advertising placement (TV, radio, print, digital and outdoor) and promotional support
- Generate publicity for arena and theatre events in local print and broadcast media via press releases, feature story pitches, publicity events and media drops, with appropriate follow-up
- Manage on- and off-site publicity efforts for arena and theatre events including character/performer appearances, live radio and television interviews, press conferences, etc.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date media lists and lead the logging, tracking, and internal reporting of Enterprise Center and Stifel Theatre media coverage
- Coordinate photographer and reviewer requests for building events
- Assist with development of plans for backstage, tour and artist hospitality/gifting
- Serve as on-site representative for media on event nights, including escorting photographers, assisting with meet and greets as needed and other media promotional activities for Stifel Theatre and Enterprise Center events, as assigned
- Maintain charity database and handle charitable donation requests for building events
- Maintain up-to-date venue signage and collateral
- Oversee and manage the development of sales collateral to support Stifel Theatre Special Events business
- Oversee photography for marketing, institutional and preservation purposes
- Assist with other corporate communications and event marketing department duties as assigned, including internal communications and executive visibility support (speaking engagements, awards, etc.)
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Min. 5 years of marketing and public relations experience; previous experience in sports, live entertainment, attractions or agency a plus.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- BA or BS in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
- Established relationships with local media, including producers and on-air talent.
- Experience managing budget.
- Self-starter that demonstrates outstanding organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through and ability to manage multiple event responsibilities concurrently.

Salary : $66,500 - $84,200
