What you will do:
Under the supervision of the Manager Supply Chain Management position is responsible for timely replenishment of supplies based on departments scheduling needs. Ensure proper inventory stocking levels are maintained and stock rotations to eliminate expiration of product. Responsible for cleanliness of all carts and supply rooms. Work closely with clinical leads to review product needs and any product discrepancies. Works with vendors for approved new product evaluations in collaboration with the Supply Chain team Works as a liaison for Supply Chain with the various departments and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Manage timely replenishment of all Pars within the department. Includes procuring nonstock items from vendor.
- Manage all supply par builds – setup, design, bins, and labeling.
- Manage all par adjustments – min/max, add/change/delete/ items for each department.
- Periodic reviews of PAR levels with department manager or supervisor.
- Manage all item change conversions and discontinued items.
- Manage supplies to minimize expired products which includes logging expired products for trend review.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain Associate all the appropriate changes within the inventory management EPR system.
- Provides department suggestions to improve inventory / par levels.
- Troubleshoot supply issues by determining root-cause and providing solutions.
- Works with Supply Chain team as needed to process or resolve any purchase order problems, credit issues or returns.
- Work with Manager Supply Chain Management in cycle counts and periodic inventories.
- Works with Sales Rep for approved new product evaluations in collaboration with the Supply Chain and Service Line Leads or Director of Department.
- Assist in any other duties that have been defined and agreed to with the Manager of Supply Chain Management.
- This position would also assist as back up to the distribution techs in the continuing care locations, covering scheduled and unscheduled time off.
- This position would also assist as a Supply Chain associate, supporting the daily supply chain and PeopleSoft matters for the medical associates, the St. Josephs physician practices, and the SPHP long term care facilities.
What you will need:
- Knowledge of supply chain management, procurement, materials management or logistics practices as normally obtained through a bachelor’s degree
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of healthcare operations preferred.
Pay Range:
$16.03 - $23.00
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
