Salary Range: $36,241 - $44,243

Summary Maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings and grounds by performing the

following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintain all STPSO properties and facilities.

Painting and performing structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings.

Responsible for mowing, edging, weed eating and blowing grass in several locations.

Assisting other departments as requested, including moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.

Meets production schedules.

Repair of air condition units and ductwork, basic plumbing and other electrical duties.

Supervisory Responsibilities - This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three

months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and

memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one

and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole

numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and

interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in

written, oral, or diagram form.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - Valid Louisiana Motor Vehicle Operator's License; proof of

residency of St. Tammany Parish (voters registration card); birth certificate (minimum age of 18 years);

Social Security Card.
