The Innovative Security Solutions (ISS) Division provides cyber solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations.  Our customers have high standards, are technically adept, and use our products daily to support their mission of protecting national security. The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for administering procurement related activities; coordinating logistical functions and assisting in the acquisition and allocation of resources.  Join a tight-knit team who is dedicated to the mission and understands the importance of a flexible and supportive workplace.  We are looking for a Procurement Specialist with experience in program development and execution, equipment and material management, inventory control, property accountability, procurement, utilizing OPSEC and enhanced OPSEC protocols.

Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the procurement cycle by managing, tracking and documenting materials through the procurement purchase process. Monitor spending tied to specific contracts and funding.
  • Serve as a representative who deals directly with outside customers on day-to-day business matters to include receiving, processing, coordinating, tracking, stocking for, and shipping orders for products submitted under established business arrangements.
  • Work closely with Customers to maintain a clear understanding of customer technical requirements. Keep abreast of technologies that pertain to specific customer requirements.  Survey customers frequently for service satisfaction.
  •  Keep track of multiple active procurements via ongoing communication with vendors and suppliers, confirming lead times, delivery dates, etc.
  • Utilize established protocols and record keeping systems to document activities while considering improvements to streamline processes.
  •  Prepare customer quotations. Send product information to customers upon request and respond to customer inquiries as needed. 
  • Collaborate with team members to build and maintain strong relationships and foster a cohesive and effective team.


Required Qualifications:

  • Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and two to four years of related (customer service or inside sales) experience.
  • The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with previous experience supporting the US Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Ability to attend to detail required. A diverse background in short and long-range planning with exposure to budget challenges desired.
  • The candidate must be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and contributing ideas to help improve service offerings.

    
Security Clearance Requirement:
Must be a US citizen with Active/current Top Secret clearance.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks. 
  • Ability to use PC and MS Office, Analytical and critical thinking skills, Interpersonal and people skills, Ability to work on a team, with strong organizational, oral and written communication skills.


Degrees:
Equivalent Experience Education Bachelor’s Degree
