Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented IT Technology and Product Research Analyst to join our team, the position is partially remote the nature of work will require some onsite work in Clarksburg WV, therefore we are looking for local candidates to the area preferred. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support the market research team to investigate vendor capabilities, problems/solutions, market research, technologies, etc. for the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) based value streams in large-scale mission critical law enforcement IT systems and services. Document and maintain all research in a designated area such as a SharePoint site/folder Present research briefings to management as required Plan vendor capability demonstrations and events as pre-approved via the Contracting Officer Assist Agile Release Train (ART) teams with building and supporting the continuous delivery pipeline Supports internal DevOps teams by facilitating the understanding of complex technology problems and coordinating discussions with industry on viable technical solutions. Work will be standardized using common tools and the MS Office suite of applications. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Participate on a Scrum or Kanban team using the Agile SAFe methodology Acquire work from a planned dynamic product backlog including walk-on work Address problems identified by value streams and the Enterprise Architect Have knowledge, skills and abilities in SAFe Agile processes and methods is preferred Technical background with experience in testing, evaluation, and utilization of IT system COTS products and technologies that operate in environments that may include two or more of the following: Java, Linux, AWS Cloud, Postgres, Oracle, IBM Mainframes, and other technologies used in large scale systems is preferred. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred and four or more years of experience in training and development or related field Preferred Qualifications: Java, Linux, AWS Cloud, Postgres, Oracle, IBM Mainframes, and other technologies used in large scale systems is preferred. Security Clearance Requirements: Must Have Active TS. Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen and may go through a government background check. Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%. Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet. Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
