The Role:
As a Graphic Designer at StackCommerce, you’ll use your creative flair and keen eye for detail to create designs that delight and engage our customers and partners. Reporting into the Design Lead, you’ll work closely with our editorial, merchandising and marketing teams to design a wide spectrum of compelling assets for various mediums, including email newsletters, social ads, and site banners. You are strategic, eager to learn, and have an eagle eye for elevated design. You’ll help shape the brand aesthetic for both our owned brands as well as our top-tier white-labled publisher shops.

What You’ll Do:
- Create compelling designs for marketing email, editorial and ad assets while seamlessly maneuvering between varying aesthetics to meet brand and audience guidelines
- Assist in designing cohesive creative assets for holistic campaigns, including site banners and email newsletters
- Create branded site assets for white-labeled e-commerce shops
- Assist with developing and updating internal and external decks, one sheets and case studies as needed
- Retouch lifestyle and product photography images as needed
- Iterate design approach based on a/b testing and engagement metrics
- Maintain a digital library of all creative for internal use
- Take ownership of projects from concept through production while collaborating with creative, merchandising and marketing teams working within the creative process
- Generate ideas, actively seek, and design new creations that are both on trend and captivating
- Contribute to a culture of continual creative improvement, innovation, and design excellence
- BONUS: Understanding of motion graphics, video editing and 3D rendering

What You’ll Bring:
- At least 3 years of work-related design experience
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent technical work experience
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite
- Online portfolio that demonstrates examples of relevant design work
- An exceptional eye for detail in layout, content, and typography
- An excitement to see your work live across our 100 partner sites
- Organized self-starter who can follow instructions and work independently with little direct supervision
- Experience creating design assets for marketing campaigns
- Experience retouching product and lifestyle photos
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a collaborative team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude and ability to receive feedback constructively
- Open to new ideas and willing to push the limits of your abilities
- Punctual, responsible, dependable and work well with others to obtain common goals
- Experience in ecommerce (preferred but not required)
- BONUS: Basic understanding of Figma, Dimensions and Substance

- Intro Call: You’ll hop on a quick call with the hiring manager so we can get to know you better — and you can learn a little more about the role.
- Technical Interview: We will send over a design exercise that challenges you. Get a feel for what you’ll be doing on a daily basis!
- Follow-Up Call: Chat with the Team Lead to get a broader picture of StackCommerce.
- Remote-Team Interview: You’ll be meeting with 5-6 team members on a video call. This is your chance to ask questions and see who this role interacts with on a daily basis.
- Final Video Call: This is a great opportunity to get to know our President over video.
