We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Operations/Maintenance Crew Member to join our team.
What You'll Do:
- Perform general repair and maintenance of park infrastructure, including water and sewer lines.
- Engage in demo and site cleanup activities.
- Carry out landscaping, snow removal, and tree pruning/trimming tasks.
- Maintain and clean the Maintenance Shop tools and equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of community facilities.
- Handle small repairs on homes, repair plumbing leaks, sewer clogs, and replace septic tanks and fields.
- Maintain common areas and clean up trash around dumpsters.
- Fill and repair potholes and other surface damage within the community.
- Work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions.
Qualifications:
- Basic construction experience is required; we will provide training for other necessary skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Skid-steer and excavator experience is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Enthusiastic, curious, and ambitious with a desire to learn and grow.
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations, capable of pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting up to 75 lbs, and performing tasks involving bending, twisting, stooping, stacking, crouching, climbing, kneeling, and balancing.
