What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller - Construction position at Staff Financial Group?
Controller - Construction
- Oversee the accounting team through daily accounting and monthly close processes to include monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, forecasts, cash flows and job profitability analysis.
- Responsible for daily cash management, job costing, project management and the analysis of performance results.
- Responsible for Payroll Administration, HR Administration, Insurance Management and Financial Review Requirements.
- Facilitate annual financial audit and preparation of income tax returns with outside CPA firm.
- Manage relationships with outside CPA firm, banks, corporate lenders, and agents.
- Responsible for ongoing coordination and annual renewal of workers compensation, auto, property and general liability insurance
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- Large ERP system experience required, implementation a plus (Prefer Timberline/SAGE)
- Previous Supervisory experience
- CPA or Parts Passed
