Our client, located in the Chamblee area, is seeking a Cabinet Shop Supervisor to join their team
Job Summary:
Performs supervisory responsibilities for managing a cabinet shop where individuals handle the construction, refinishing and repair of cabinets for commercial customers.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Plans & supervises production work of the cabinet shop
- Schedule the project and budget time required to meet deadlines
- Supervises and participates in the construction & installation, as needed, of all millwork projects
- Supervises and participates in the operation and maintenance of woodworking machines
- Estimates construction costs
-Trains personnel, as needed, in the operation of woodworking machines
- Ensure projects are on budget, on time and installed properly
Requirements:
- Previous cabinet shop experience
- Thorough knowledge of the methods, equipment, materials, tools & practices of millwork manufacturing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients, and vendors
- Ability to read and interpret plans/blue prints and shop drawings
- Ability to operate CNC machine
Job Type: Full-time
Pay of $25 to $30 per hour plus bonus
Salary : $25 - $30
