Job Description
The selected Contractor will provide expert-level engineering and consulting services for desktop computing environment development and technical support required for the ongoing efforts of the Client. The contractor shall work with staff who supports systems as it pertains to; but, is not limited to Microsoft Windows 10, Active Directory Group Policy Objects, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Tanium and virtual desktop environments.
The Consultant(s) shall provide expert-level support to create and maintain a highly available Windows desktop computing environment.
The Consultant(s) shall evaluate, develop and recommend specific desktop Windows operating system technology platform methodologies to provide cost effective solutions that meet business and technology requirements.
The Consultant(s) shall provide planning, image configuration, implementation, and image maintenance within the Client's desktop, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, and VMWare virtual environment(s).
The Consultant(s) shall provide expert-level support in the analysis configuration and implementation of Group Policy Object (GPO) strategies.
The Consultant(s) shall provide working-level support in the analysis, configuration, and implementation, and support of Microsoft’s SCCM and Intune products as well as Tanium.
The Consultant(s) shall perform complex technical analysis of the operating system and client desktop software and understand how it relates to hardware and network systems.
The Consultant(s) shall provide technology training to Client's staff as needed.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
The Consultant(s) must have at least three (3) years of expert-level experience with a government agency planning, configuring, upgrading, and delivering support for Windows operating systems within the desktop computing environment.
The Consultant(s) must have at least three (3) years of expert-level experience leading and testing Group Policy Objects (GPO).
The Consultant(s) must have at least three (3) years of expert-level experience with a government agency planning, configuring, delivering, and supporting online/offline images within the Windows desktop computing environment.
The Consultant(s) must have at least five (5) years of working-level experience in configuring, building packages, and supporting SCCM.
The Consultant(s) must have at least two (2) years of working-level experience implementing enterprise-wide VMware product installations.
The Consultant(s) must be familiar with designing, configuring, and supporting cloud-based O365 services.
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
The Consultant(s) with more than seven (7) years of experiences years of experience aligning IT systems with organizational business processes.
The Consultant(s) with more than four (4) years of that experience in a lead capacity.
