This is an on-site, in-person role, in the WNY area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the accounting department, including supervising a team of 2-3 people.
• Lead monthly meetings with managers and deliver detailed financial reports to senior management.
• Manage project documents, ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate with third-party accountants to ensure compliance and maintain financial accuracy.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Sage 300; experience in project accounting is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to delegate tasks effectively and manage diverse personalities within the department.
• CPA is not required but is considered a plus.
