Quality Placement Authority is seeking a Spanish Bilingual Human Resource Coordinator near Huntley, IL. Qualified candidates must have knowledge of Human Resource systems; Internet software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities of HR Coordinator Include:
- Serve as a link between manufacturing management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering company policies and procedures, and helping resolve work-related concerns.
- Participates in recommending any development and/or revision of company’s policies, procedures, and programs.
- Investigates employee relations incidents and reports back to Human Resources team.
- Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
- Formulates training and schedules, based on knowledge of identified training needs and management recommendation
- Follows-up with new hires at the appropriate intervals and that agreed upon on boarding plans are being followed in each department.
- Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
- Trains or assists in training management as needed in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment.
- Review resumes, applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position.
- Work with external recruiter and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates
- Responsible for full-life cycle recruiting of all positions in the Elgin (WPFC) facility and assists the Huntley HR team with all operations recruiting
- Interview candidates to determine qualifications and organization fit
- Attends grievance meetings, is prepared and participates in employee relations issues and resolution
- Translates for all manufacturing employees during required meetings
- Administers FMLA, LOA, Points Policy, I-9 re-verify, TALX, Temp staffing orders, Invoice processing, personnel files maintenance, perfect attendance program, union open-enrollment sign up,
- Participates in HR meetings for overall departmental development
- Prepares documentation for IDHR/EEOC and unemployment as required
Qualifications of HR Coordinator:
- Must be Spanish Bilingual!
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 4 years of related experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Basic mathematical skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per hour
