ULG Skilled Trades has an immediate need for an Estimator in the Dallas - Fort Worth area. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to understand directions, follow instructions, and provide documented experience in the construction building trades. HEAVY emphasis on drywall experience
- Full Time
- Up to $125 K plus benefits and 401 K
- Experienced in estimating drywall projects with metal stud framing
- Attend Pre-bid and jobsite meetings if necessary.
- Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints and project plans and specifications to gain a thorough understanding of the project
- Using bid data to prepare detailed a cost analysis
- Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing
- Determine labor and construction equipment costs
- Prepare RFI’s, submittals and shop drawings.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors
- Prepare subcontractor bid list and submit drawings to subcontractors
- Managing bids from vendors and subcontractors
- Participate in bid compilation on bid day
- Submit requisitions for purchase of materials
